 Meet Shawntelle,  CEO of Balmz & Butterz

  The year 2020 was rough for everyone, and I was no exception. While fighting my own sickness (allergic reaction), I realized all of my hair and skincare products were full of harmful chemicals that could have adverse effects on the body. Chemicals naturally permeate through the skin, which in turn can cause bodily harm if those ingredients were concocted in a lab. I recognized that divine intervention had once again stepped in to guide me and this time, I listened. I vowed to make my own vegan [organically grown] products. My goal was to create luxury yet affordable products that catered to the health and preservation of the hair and skin.  I was moved to educate myself and others on how to naturally care for their outer shell because what you put on your body is just as important as what you put in your body.
